The Director, Customer Solutions will be based in East Coast, USA . The Director, Customer Solutions will be responsible for qualifying, architectural design, development, and deployment of the enterprise's overall systems, selling and leading first customer interactions for Target Audio Customers, by providing technical insight, go fast planning, facilitating contract, pricing and readiness to capture the first business win of prototype, design and assembly as per customers expectations. He or she will also be responsible for participating in the formation of corporate and strategic plans and to create new business and sustain current accounts.

Review customer requirements, identify and communicate potential issues and provide recommendations that will meet both Flextronics capability and customers specifications.
Prepare detailed project plans by documenting customers requirements and incorporating design and manufacturing capabilities in order to meet customers expectations.
Define initial project/product scope and prepare comprehensive proposals to meet customers expectations.
Works with engineering teams on technology and product definitions as well as implementation and integration strategies required for solution delivery
Works with engineering and supply chain to estimate product and development costs and timelines, and identify potential issues based on provided design information that may be incomplete
Analyze and understand customers business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Flex resources where mutually beneficial.
Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
Assist current accounts as a focal point in delivering Flex s solutions which include concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services support and reverse logistics.
Develop new strategic alliances with key customers.
Define business priorities through a broad and long-term vision of market and technology needs, to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.
Work closely with the Business Development Team and the Finance Department to control budgets within the department.
Support senior management with regards to managing and evaluating key personnel and in terms of talent acquisition to provide further potential to business resources.
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
Here is some of what you ll need (required)
Bachelor s degree in engineering or sciences.
10 years of progressively advancing product development & architectural system design and/or business development experience.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Advanced critical thinking skillset to quickly identify customer needs & requirements, match Flextronics capabilities and service offerings to customer requirements.
Identify gaps in capability to develop prototypes internally, and articulate real-time solutions to customers that drive business engagement forward.
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Ability to dig deep into issues when needed.
Business Mindset ability to assign new business models to given opportunities, converting prospects into customers with high profitability, high likelihood for higher volume success, and carry the excellent first experience into a long term partnership.
